Yesterday I worked on a new big painting of the dancer. It is 70 x 100 cm big. Oil on canvas. This is just the beginning
Ettie
My friend Ettie celebrated her birthday on Sunday November 15th. We had a small party at a friend's house in Mevaseret on Friday 11/13/15.
I've decided to make two paintings for her, one is her portrait the way she looks today, done in watercolor. The other one is a drawing. In the charcoal drawing I was trying to bring her back to her 20's, using my imagination, I think I didn't succeed in creating likeness from the past.Wednesday, October 7, 2015
A month ago painting a head statue
While I was staying in my brother's apt in Yaffo, I decided to paint the head statue he purchased a while ago. The head was done by the artist sculpter Abraham Melnikov the one who did The famous Roaring Lion standing in Tel Hai memorial in Upper Galilee Israel.
I fiinished working on it in my studio.

Succot Morning at the Baptists Village Park
In the last 3 weeks I didn't paint much, I was busy with my vacation to Cinqua terre and Florence Italy, and later with holiday dinners, family gathering and more...
Yesterday I felt that I can't wait any more. I drove to the nearest national park with my box of watercolors and that's what came out
Watercolor on cold pressed 140 lbs/300 gms paper

Saturday Morning at National Park Yarkon
A very hot and humid day at the park. We started early.
I knew right away what I was going to paint today, I spoted the location last time I was at the park - the road inside the park and the city of Petach-Tikva sky line.

Two days in Kahal
June 30th early morning I'm on my way to Kahal, a village in northern Israel, with a great view of Sea of Galilee, Mount Arbel and the vilages around.
I was with Carmela and we painted from a remote and quiet corner at the edge of the village.
First day was very cloudy, not too hot. I painted the mountains to the west of the village. The next day was hot.

Painting at National Park Yarkon, Baptist Village
Saturday morning June 27th, going with friends to the Baptists Village at National Park Yarkon.
I started a painting, but didn't finish it.
Here is my unfinished work. I don't know if I'll ever touch it - I love it as is.

Hayarkon Park at Seven Mills
I arranged with Nora, my friend, to paint at Seven Mills, Hayarkon Park.
I've heard so much of that place, but I don't remember being there before.
We spent 2 hours on June 17th, from 8am till about 10am.
I was facing west with the sun coming from behind me, sending rays of light on the trees I was painting. The tree trunk of the Eucalyptus looked bright white, and reflecting on the pond.
