Two days in Kahal

June 30th early morning I'm on my way to Kahal, a village in northern Israel, with a great view of Sea of Galilee, Mount Arbel and the vilages around.

I was with Carmela and we painted from a remote and quiet corner at the edge of the village.

First day was very cloudy, not too hot. I painted the mountains to the west of the village. The next day was hot.

Hayarkon Park at Seven Mills

I arranged with Nora, my friend, to paint at Seven Mills, Hayarkon Park.
I've heard so much of that place, but I don't remember being there before.

We spent 2 hours on June 17th, from 8am till about 10am.

I was facing west with the sun coming from behind me, sending rays of light on the trees I was painting. The tree trunk of the Eucalyptus looked bright white, and reflecting on the pond.

Here is my work
